Yeah, they fixed it if you're referring to the leaf spring issue. No vibes on the lift btw, nice and smooth going down the road.

I really got to narrow down what lift I will go with. I'm new to the whole Tacoma thing, and jumped right into the 3rd Gen. I have a ton of research to do, but toss ideas my way when you can.

Old Man Emu is what I believe the best option is. Cost=reasonable. Lift=moderate. Components=proven. Performance=outstanding.

The only thing, OME is not a long travel set up so if you need that type of suspension (most do not) then look at something else.

Totally agree with this. If I didn't already have my Icon stuff, I'd more than likely just do the 5100's this time around. But, since I already spent the money, I figured I might as well keep it and take it all over to the new truck. Wheels and tires will be something I change when it's time for new tires. Will likely do Toyo Open Country AT2's again and maybe some Stealth Custom Series SR8's. Got a few months to decide on that, for now I'll be running my wheel and tire set up from my 12

Initially I wanted icon fox or King. But after riding in my brother in laws old man emu 4 Runner I was impressed. This will be my wife's truck.

It's a really good look!! Cant wait until I get all these things done. Lift and tires will be a big improvement. Already debadged and removed the lower valence.

ha ha, nah, thankfully those few things only took about 15 minutes. The valence came off as soon as I got home.. This weekend will be the real thrash getting both trucks apart and back together.

I'd give you the wheels/tires off of my 16 if I didn't need them to go back on my 12

Chris do you guys get killer deals on tires from a dealer supplier or is it more cost advantageous for the customer to purchase tires on their own? I'm assuming the latter but figured I'd ask anyway.

You may want to rethink that size as you're going to add significant weight to the tires which will cause the 4-cylinder to be even slower. If I end up going with the 4 cylinder, I would definitely NOT go to a bigger tire size. Just replace those crappy tires with a nice set of A/Ts in the same tire size. It may not look as cool, but it will make a big difference in performance (and possibly MPGs).
