That's not a lot of caster, should be at least 3* plus, and camber close to 0.

    I don't have heimed uppers.

I keep witness marks on the cams. I have never caught them moving, even though alignment shifts. I have not checked them since the weekend. I have the upgraded bushings in the steering rack and they are cranked down like a mofo, but I guess that is the only possible source of a change in aligment if the cams aren't moving.

Right, but to get that caster I have to go more negative on camber. I'm guessing that's a frame issue.

I guess you could get Hiemed uppers made, then u could get proper numbers, might as well get a new LT kit or make new lower mounts, that's a bummer dude, orrr make new lowers cause those Allpro arms are fuckin crap design, that shock bolt is a real cheap hooker

He should be able to just get the TC Heim uppers and the LSK Lower mount tabs and be good to go for it. Shit bushings on the rack aren't helping though.

So a few years ago we decided to lose our minds and build my weekend warrior in to a race truck. A lot of crazy things have happened since then, the series we started in is gone, the series we were going to run in went of the rails regarding rules (at least in my opinion) and a series we never thought we'd afford opened up an opportunity for us. We were fortunate enough to be able to race (and win) at the Mint and race (and finish 2nd) at Vegas to Reno.

The "new" Class 7100 deal in BITD is a 3 race sportsman mini series with a points champ crowned at the end. We're 10 ish days out from Blue Water at Parker where a finish will secure the first season's championship for us. In Year 1 it's not terribly prestigious, and only a handful of trucks have shown up so far. But regardless, I'm super proud of the truck Khris built and the team we put together to get us through a couple of the biggest races in the US in our little garage built leaf springer and am pumped about the chance to finish off the season strong in Parker.

Thanks Matt and MCM Fab for twisting my arm to buy you race kit...are we still the only ones running it? Thanks Cliff for opening the SDHQ door for us, we couldn't be happier having such a great company to work with. And the guys at Deaver and Camburg have been awesome too. If you are out and about for Blue Water track Khris down and say hello!

I swear I'm not a jerk in real life but I'll apologize now if we've met before and I don't remember a name if you do say hello to me! LOL A million people tend to say hello and talk when we show up with the truck and I recognize faces but can't remember all the names...

BTW, that picture he posted was from this past sat and the truck is dialed in!!

Nice write up. You guys do need to carry a funnel on board to put ATF in. At Rawhide we improvised with the fuel spout. LOL. Hopefully you'll keep the rubber side down and won't need to add atf.

    Exactly

But I'm sure they are going to charge 2k or more for them so its not worth it for me. I'll continue to carry a spare hub around with me.
