Just to update everyone, I believe I found the wiring diagram here:

    http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp?tid=137159

So the entire kit is pretty simple except for one set of wires which I emailed the tech support guy about. I can easily tie into the wire harness up to that point, just a question on the trigger wire wiring. Should get an answer shortly I hope.

Since the rear cam activates in "reverse" I am assuming the front cam will activate in "drive"? How will you switch between screen views for front cam viewing while in park or driving?

The front camera can be switched on at any time via toggle switch. The tech support guy is trying to figure out a little issue I'm having with neither camera working with the harnesses. Sounded like it'll be an easy fix but still waiting on an answer.

Turns out the kit I was sent has the option for two add on cameras, not just one. So I have to check some stuff out on that part of the install as well.

I thought about that but it's a bit hard to find a spot to mount the camera. I thought about doing two in the grille but ill try to get one working for now

I got it to work! The only problem is that the signal is flipped because I bought a backup camera instead of front facing camera. So the picture is upside down and the lines are right side up.

Ill try out another camera. I bought a cheap Amazon camera for 15$ that I used. Quality looks like crap compared to the factory camera in the tailgate. I'll see if I can order another one that's better quality and faces the right way.

I have seen the emblem camera but I did the satoshi mod so the emblem went away a while ago.

The switch I used is a simple toggle switch I had laying around. Just on and off. I will change it out to a 3 position one so I can use the other camera too if I find a spot for it.

Ok guys just to keep everyone updated, everything I have works fine(except the camera view being upside down, but that's a minor camera issue). I'll be away about a week and half on a roadtrip to Yellowstone for backpacking but I'll ask the guys at camera source if they can get a few kits ready for sale as well as some group pricing back to me.

He hasn't told me an exact price on the stuff but I expect somewhere between $1-$1000 range(joke, I have no clue).

The kit fits all second gens, there will be two harnesses with the kit(unless they decide to only send one) that will either fit the 05-12 radios or the 13-15 radios.

I have both harnesses, but I only need the 13-15 one but the other one is basically useless without the control box that comes with the kit.

Anyone interested in a kit please start a list in this forum with a number and your name.
