I was curious as to how many TW members leave their trucks relatively stock? My 2015 DCSB is only a month old, and I really don't feel too compelled to lift it or swap out my bumpers but I do kind of want new tires, mirror re-locater/gopro mount, sliders, a bed-rack and a soft topper of some kind. I really just plan on using it as a daily driver and maybe a moab run to hit white rim. Any one else out there like to keep it simple?

I said the same thing. Stick around here long enough and you'll change your tune.

I feel the same way, I have a 2005 long wheelbase wrangler, if anything is getting and OME kit it'll be that right now, lol. But, you never know what the future holds for the Taco :) But for now, I think the jeeps gonna get the upgrades.

leaving mine mostly stock-ish... adding only items that improve the value or efficiency of the truck... I am leaving the suspension and wheels alone, and will not remove OEM parts to swap for upgrades.
My reasoning is when I shopped for used Tacomas (6 months of shopping for a deal) I found that most dealers/car lots loathed buying used trucks with major mods since they had a much harder time reselling them. I also found it impossible to avoid inheriting other's mod mistakes when buying a truck that had a lot done to it. So for now, I don't want to void my warranty in any way, and will leave her as she was designed to be. Maybe I'll change my tune later, but I'm pretty certain I am going to keep it mostly stock and make it much easier to sell down the road.

With the exception of maybe painting the pinch weld under the cab, mine will stay stock aside from adding nerf bars and in-channel wind deflectors.

I've owned my truck for a little over 1 year, and it's still pretty much stock. I don't really want or need to install a lift, and I don't want to change wheels. I'll probably go from 265/70's to 265/75's when it's time to change tires, and I might, might swap over to a color-matched surround with the TRD Pro grille insert. That's about it for me...nothing to exciting.

My Tacoma and I are still on our honeymoon. I'm sure I'll make a few minor changes once she's been trained and broken in.

I planned to leave my truck stock and upgrade as things wore out, but it didn't last too long, mainly because the factory tires only lasted 21k miles, then I upgraded to 265/75s, then I needed a stronger rear suspension, then I needed to raise the front some so it wasn't super raked out.. then that suspension wasn't enough, raised the rear some more.. then the front end was too low, and then..

Haven't done anything crazy (yet), but I do have some things modded. I like my mods stealthy but practical.

I just have a few things done, most are functional/utilitarian. Added a OEM roof rack, fogs, bed mat, upgraded wheels to 265/75 and put a Softopper on. If you're thinking of getting a Softopper, I highly recommend it. However, instead of going to pick up locally in Boulder, it MAY be cheaper for you to have it shipped, as I paid $50 in sales tax.

@kiesster thats a good tip about the tax, speaking of Boulder and tax I am kind of nervous to see what the DMV charges me to register the truck.

Until SAS/LT and drivetrain swap etc., I consider most trucks stockish. Mine is about 99.9% stock in my mind.

Stock is best. But add some sliders to it just in case.

90% of the folks at TW would look at my truck and not notice more than 3-4 very 'common' mods. Tonneau, floor mats, stuff like that.

Because it's not lifted, leveled, doesn't have honkin tires and several other popular mods it generally would be considered a clean base truck, that looks like a fleet vehicle at a glance.

    Which is fine by me.

I have always preferred my mods to be functional in nature, based on how I used a vehicle, with some simple cosmetics (debadging, etc.) thrown in along the way.
