Kydex Bed Bar Protectors

Greetings TW. Recently I noticed that my Relentless bed bars were taking quite a beating from installing and removing my roof-top tent. The powder-coating was getting worn away, exposing bare metal that was starting to rust.

I started searching for a clean looking product that I could place over the bars to provide a barrier between the metal-on-metal contact of my tent and the bars. Unable to find anything, I contacted a friend who works for a Holster company making Kydex gun holsters. He fab'd me up a set of 4" long Kydex sleeves to fit over my bed rails and after installing some 2-sided 3M tape, I pressed them onto my bedrails.

I think they look very professional, while at the same time providing a cheap solution to my problem.

The sleeves will be made 4" long, and have available diameters of 1.5", 1.75", 2.00" other sizes could be made, PM me for custom sizes.

Someone had a question about how these will hold up to UV exposure. Simply put, we aren't sure yet. But in working with the product for many years now, the company does not foresee any issues from sun exposure. but IF there is an issue, read the warranty section below.

For now, the only color available is black.

Pricing:

The sleeves will be sold individually at $5 each. for example, if you want 4, it would be $20.Shipping will be USPS priority at a flat rate (Cont US) of 6$

Warranty info:

All their products come with a lifetime warranty. Should the user experience any failures of the product, simply contact the company and they will exchange or refund your money. Their customer service is top-notch and they want their consumers to be happy. For instance, my gun holster cracked at the safety after 2 years, and they replaced it free of charge in 1 week (they custom make everything). Quoted from my conversation with their rep: "It is fails during normal usage or if they are unhappy with it we will take care of them."
