I have a 2007 AC TRD Offroad Tacoma with a 6" Procomp DB lift and want to make it more offroad capable. I know most people on tacomaworld hate on DB lifts because of their low ground clearance, but by looking at other DB builds, I know that they can do fairly well offroad. Any ideas on shocks, skid plates, etc.? I'll take any input, but do not tell me that I should lose the lift.

Drop bracket lifts at least. Any recommendations on what coilovers to get?

I'm a newbie to suspension talk. Are the big three King, Icon, and Fox?

Gotcha. One more thing, what exactly would the 6" coil overs provide to the offroad capability of the truck?

I'm planning on doing more offloading in the future, so do you guys think I should lose the nerf bars and replace with sliders or save the money for something else on the truck?

Would it be better to upgrade the DB with new coilovers and stuff or to just wait and gut the DB and go with a MT setup?

Pretty sure the biggest gripe about DB's are the work/expense it takes to get 1 extra inch of lift for IFS only to lose it in ground clearance because they hang down...

If money isn't a factor loose it.. But its a bit expensive I believe to do so. Look at this build, he was in the same situation as you are in https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/aaronarfs-2012-dcsb-build.213614/
