image.jpg Removed the sway bar. Took about 50 minutes. Didnt lift a single tire or use a single power tool. Just used my foot if needed and removed all the skid plates and the skid plate brackets and it slid right out. Rides alot better even if you a bit fast on the corners (im 17 and drive like i own a sports car..) is it common to get a bit of lift from removal? the front end measured about .3 inches higher than it was before

Why'd you decide to remove it?

Top tip: don't do that without a swaybar. You'll end up killing someone, perhaps yourself, perhaps nearby innocents.

It's a good think you have stronger coils, and that will help, but did not get cocky or bad thigns will happen. A truck has a higher CG by default, and your lift has aonly increased that. Take it easy.

Yeah when i was trying to get a feel of the body roll, i was telling myself that I need to teach myself not to jerk the steering wheel on turns or when changing lanes... Orther than that if im driving like a normal person and trying to get mpg like my dad i rides great! Just realized i was trying to post this on the what did you do to your taco thread.. And @hcm I took it off because ive heard that it rides reallt good with stiffer coils, and i have a friend that just put a titan swap and radflos on his fronteir and took of his sways and it felt really good. So thought i would give it a shot

The primay reason to do it is because it increases offroad articulation and traction on the front end, allowing more droop on one side and more stuff on the other, and therefore increasing the chance you can maintaining traction over bigger obstacles. It also soaks up the whoops better...

i did it because people said it rode better. Im at 2wd so i dont go wheeling. Just mainly driving fast on gravel roads and bumpy back roads. I did notice that when i hit an obstacle one obstacle at a time when i was on a gravel road that the truck doesnt rock side to side as hard.

Yes, it will soak up bumps better in general. Just please be careful. Guys roll their trucks screwing around at speed under the conditions you describe, even with their sway bars on. As a young driver without hardly any hours behind the wheel, please take it easy.

I can't find my favorite video of a guy clowning around in flat dirt, tried to power slide, flipped his truck and totaled it. It takes only a couple seconds.

    These will do for now.

Anyone have an 05-15 model with a COLOR MATCHED off-road front bumper? Would love to do that to mine, but want to see if anyone has done it before

Just finished installing my Lund Terrain HX steps. They bolted in directly to the stock mounting holes. These are fully powder coated 3" bars with 4" drop steps.

I have been trying to find a used mid rise canopy for a while in any color but this is the only canopy I have come across. I dont mind it at all.
