I bought a 09 tacoma trade sport. I recently put the billets 5100 adjustable in the front with the 5100s in the rear with a 2" block. I have the 265/65/17s right now but they look to small now that I put the leveling kit on. What size tires can I run without a lot of rubbing. I'm willing to put a 1.25" wheel spacer if needed. If anyone could let me know that would be awesome.

Hope you don't go off-road with that block

What would be my other choice for the rear to get it leveled out?

You could put an Add A Leaf, new shocks, a new leaf pack.

This would also improve ride quality if you set it up right :D

I don't know anything about the 5100s ,but if you can adjust them a half an inch more, you can set 33s in there.

I have a 2.5" spacer that holds up 285s (33s). But I'm saving up for a complete suspension overhaul. The spacers that the previous owner put in really prematurely wore out my shocks.

mine had a spacer at first, but the ride was stiff so I replaced them with the 5100's. I believe i have mine set at 2.5" or 2.75".

I'm pretty sure you're all set for 33s then. A lot of people on this forum suggest trimming body mounts to get 33s in there. But I never did, and I'm pretty sure the previous owner didn't either.

I do notice tire rubs ONLY when it's at full flex, or when I'm at a full turn when I'm at 5psi

I should also note that when they do rub under those circumstances, it's really minor.

I think I'm going to need a wheel spacer because the UCA is about a half inch from the inside of the tire now.

I'm running 285/85/16 BFG KM2s. Good tired except when on the freeway. They make a lot of noise, so it's kinda frustrating when you're trying talk to people. But other than that, I've never been stuck. Even in 2wd in sand.

I should add that i have a 1st gen and you have a 2nd gen. I was pretty sure all the "tire rules" we're the same but I could be wrong.

You should ask this question in the "suspension" forums. You'll get better answers from there from people with second gens such as yourself. Good luck with whatever tire size you are trying for!

Get rid of the blocks in the rear if you're going to do any offroading!
