Has anyone gotten any apps like waze to work with the new app suite? Wondering what the app suite entails? And is the Nav is a real nav or just an app for your phone?

NAV is real on some, uses phone on others. I would LOVE to see the Waze app represented But I usually use integrated NAV plus my WAze app on my phone. WAZE is the shyte when travelling......

Waze has too many bells and whistles and candy and bs... Too distracting while driving.

Can my iPhone nav be displayed on the TRD head unit?

I run Waze to give traffic data to Google. Google owns Waze and uses all it's info gathering for Google Maps. I use Google Maps for navigation

More than likely not. (I don't have an iphone so I can't say for sure) But the nav has some pretty neat features, like predictive traffic, HD radio traffic, and you can even set up your 'normal' routes and have it show traffic and ETA for those routes. 5 different routes if I remember correctly. (was messing with it today)

How does it gather info? Through a subscription service?

HD radio has traffic. but I think you can set it up to also get traffic through you phones internet connection.
