Mine was a triple with triple pipes, maybe it was later than 95? Sounded awesome and ran like a raped ape. It had purple plastics. I never built the engine but it was still very fast stock- in a straight line that is! Don't get it stuck though, damn thing was heavy!

No but it's got a lot of miles on it and it's making some bearing noises may as well change it when I stick the crawl
    Box it.

When's the crawl box going in? And ya probably a good idea to change the clutch to one with more holding power when the crawl box goes in.

Hopefully within a month, of course now I plan on the crawler
I have just started getting a strong driveline vibration. I'm hoping is just a bearing but I feel like it's bigger than that. With luck it's the transfer case I'm replacing haha. Depends on if I have to tackle something else

The only time I was on a snowmobile was when I was in junior high. It was my cousin's 1974 Artic Cat Panther. I promptly hit a tree. Oops.

For those who want to run longer oil intervals check out Blackstone Labs. I do UOAs on the STi for every change. I left oil in it for almost 20 months prior to my last one and the oil still came back fine although it only had probably 1,800 miles on it. Blackstone does extended interval programs where you sample and they run it and see how much longer you can stretch. I think at my next interval I will have them catch a sample and send it out. I swapped to M1 at 1,000 miles so I'm curious how things are going in there. M1 5w-30 has a very poor reputation in the Subaru world but a good one here.

Morning. It's wet out there. People can't drive in the rain. Winter commutes are going to suck.

Fucking women (nothing personal, Rebecca & Alex).
I asked Cassie this morning if she wanted to take the Tacoma because of the rain today, since she travels I-95 to Portland. She said no, she's going to work in the Lewiston office because of the weather. So I say ok, and take the Tacoma myself. I get halfway to work and she texts me asking if she can take the truck because she's changed her mind and is working in Portland after all. So I had to turn around and drive back home to swap vehicles with her.
I just got a text from her saying that she's working in the Lewiston office because she got a call from her boss telling her not to bother coming to Portland because traffic on I-95 was lousy.

    :frusty:

Well that was a shitty drive in. New BFGs did well in the rain, no hydroplaning or drama when driven in accordance with conditions
