1 Month Ownership 2015...disappointed

I tow a 3500 lbs inline snowmobile trailer all winter long in the mountains of NE and the power is fine. If you really want to not feel a single bit of difference when you are towing from when you aren't, you should get a full size with a big diesel.

I defend the power because I think it's foolish to complain about it. It's somewhat akin to spending a bunch of money on a house with a blue roof and then being upset that the house has a blue roof.

 

Just quick ?, why would you test drive with the salesmen in the first place. I have bought many cars and trucks and only once had a sales person ride. After that experience I drove to the dealership and requested a drive by myself in which they had no issues with.

if i had something larger to tow i'd probably have gone with a full size option. all i have is the motorcycle related stuff so the tacoma is perfect. plus i wanted a manual so i was pretty much stuck

 

you should sell that p.o.s and buy a quality Colorado. i'll tell ya what i'll buy that junky, too small of a touch screen for phat fingers truck from ya!

I live in Pa. No problems with rear window. Anyone trying to tow a boat 3 times the size of the truck and then complain about it should be smacked. Have some common sense. Buy a full size if you need to tow huge things. The tow ratings are relative to what you are towing. Pulling a small item that is heavy will be easier to pull than a huge item of the same weight that acts as a wind sail.

 

I hope your Ford lasts half as long as my Toyota does....oh wait, you seem to still be driving a Toyota that you hate. Thats so weird. AND, you come on to a Tacoma enthusiast forum and talk shit about the truck we all own and like. Your tactics confuse me, sir. Also, maybe try not to get so upset because someones opinion, about a truck we both own *hint hint*, differs from yours. Personal attacks don't go over so well, 'round here.

100% this. Plenty of dudes that will run their mouth over an internet forum and then try to be nice to your face. Ive learned to just ignore them at meets or not invite to mod days at my place with stuff like that

wait wait wait, you mean my V6 tacoma cant tow the same as a full size truck, even after i put larger tires on and no power upgrades? This is ridiculous, im gonna keep the truck but bitch about it online for the next decade.
