Double cabs look stupid. Get a minivan instead. Trucks are supposed to have the whole family packed in the front bench seat. That's country.

DCSB are just cars that lost the lid to the trunk. I really do with I had a real truck.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
I don't see how a person's maturity level and age reflects what they drive. Remember before the early 90's how 9 out of 10 pickup trucks were all regular cabs? We live in a time now where people want trucks for daily drivers, kid haulers, and grocery getters. That's why 4 door trucks have become so popular.

I'm in my mid 20s, never want kids, and have a DCLB. I like having the space.

This reminds me of when I see a big chevy or ford truck and theres a dude with his women riding in the center of the bench seat beside him with his arm around her. As if he's afraid someone else might take her.

    Just me
After reading the first 2 pages of this mess I would say, Find friends with each and beg an hour drive. I wish I had driven an AC before buying the DC only because truck is more work oriented and both would do the job but the DCLB in parking lots is a bit like docking the Queen Mary.

But I love it just the same.

How is the DCLB hard to park? I've never had an issue, parallel or otherwise. Maybe I'm just used to driving larger vehicles, IDK.

My only trouble is figuring out where the back of the truck ends. I tend to think I have much less room behind me than I actually do (which, I suppose, is better than the reverse).

But the backup camera takes care of that problem!

Can't get away with that like the people in big cities apparently do. The hitch receiver would be the first thing to hit most things behind me, and that will leave a mark no matter what.

I agree with you! I have an access cab and I am 26 not because I want to look like a teenager or something like that but because I love how the truck looks. I will never sell it ?(hopefully) So i'll be that guy being 35 and driving an access cab. When I have kids we will just use the wife's 4runner or I'll get a small four cylinder car. The truck will come in handy moving trash and what not from the house. So if you get a double cab just to look more grown up and professional then you need to reevaluate your life.

Wish I'd have known a DC would make me appear more responsible before I bought my AC. It's too bad the kiddo will be uncomfortable in the back. I guess wasn't thinking about him when I bought it. But since he's 25 and owns a f'ing RAPTOR I think he'll manage.

    Signed,
Irresponsible Old Dude (who *still* likes his truck)

The nice thing about having an AC is that I rarely drive anywhere when I am with friends... I save on the gas money, maintenance, and don't put as much miles on the truck... But the true reason is that I love the way it looks with the long bed.

My dog preferred the AC. She can't jump high enough to the seat of the dbl cab.
