It would be interesting to see a black grill on an OR. To me, even though they have the same grill, the sport looks much better stock in the front. I wonder if with the black fender flares having a black grill would improve the look.

Sorry to hear about that. Makes absolutely no sense especially when production comes out of Baja or Nor Cal. If the customer is willing to pay, give it to them.

What's another $800 to get the truck shipped from an out of state dealer if you're already spending 30k? Maybe somebody will work you a deal out of state or Chris can make something happen to have it delivered.

Or he just gets his wife happy and waits this one out. Shit happens for a reason. It shouldn't be this hard to buy a truck.

I made mine into a process. Called and emailed every dealer after searching their inventory online over a few weeks. Only 2 really stepped up and I visited both. The 1st let me walk, the second wouldn't let me walk even when the 1st started calling and asking me to come back.

So just sell your car on your own.

Sold my car 2 weeks ago. Flying to pick up my truck on the 19th hopefully. Even after travel expenses I am still saving almost $2k over what any dealer in AZ would do.

I made no statement directed at you or any other specific buyer. I responded to a post saying it shouldn't be hard to buy a truck...and it doesn't have to be. I know. I've bought dozens of them.
I have always been able to find one that fits my needs/wants.
I also have placed a custom order (not Tacoma) and that's ok too.

I wish you good luck. As others have posted, appears you have a real good guy in your corner.

Chris! I ordered the white limited 4x4 from you (and John). Any way we can do this to my grill when it comes in? Also wanted to do nerf bars but the Toyota option is more expensive than the aftermarket.
