I am located near Sacramento and I am no longer in the business but I did automotive electrical for 7 years and I still have the knowledge and all of my tools if anyone is in need of specialty wiring. I am happy to help people get things wired/ installed if the help is needed.

Original Tacoma: 6" lift, air bags in the rear, 17x9.5 XD Series rims w/ 35" Cooper STT Pro tires. Body Armor rear bumper with swing arm tire mount, TRD Exhaust, URD True Cold Air intake, TRD Front Brakes, RIGID INDUSTRIES grill and LED bar installed in it, LED Rear Lights, TracRack rack system, tool box. Sold the truck. Bought 2016 ram 2500 Laramie diesel. (7/2016) Picked up 97 Tacoma 4x4 Extended Cab 3.4L. Building motor now. (8/2017)
I run a construction and project management company and have rebuilt a bunch of engines (about 15 different 1zzfe motors, rebuilt and custom built 1.8L miata motors, several honda 2.4L motors, several jeep 5.2L v8s, a land rover v8 motor, and light vw motor work), worked on jeeps (motors and suspension), built a miata race car (and recently sold it a Track rental car company in Salinas) and built my Tacoma.. and am still working on it.

I have a ton of tools including
    5SCFM Dewalt air compressor
    Air tools
a/c gauge set and vacuum pump.
    Wrenches, socket sets, etc..
Miscellaneous tools like gear pullers, cam bearing install tool, bearing install tools, taps and dies etc..
20ton press (harbor freight version but it does the job)
Mig Welder w/ spool gun for aluminum
    Grinders
Almost the entire cordless Makita tool set (minus a few big battery tools like their chop saw, mini blower, and few other odd balls)
    Dewalt Slide Miter saw
    Dewalt Table saw
    Routers
    Miscellaneous hand tools
Jack hammers, concrete mixer, ...etc.. and a bunch of other building tools.

Either way, due to the amount of work I do, I don't have too much time to work on fun build projects but would like to make more time. I guess if I had someone to help me with some projects, I wouldn't mind spending some weekends helping out as well. I have a 2 car garage with epoxy coated floor where I do my hobby work. Am somewhat remodeling it now, and trying to run air lines in the walls and set up welder station and compressor station. Wouldn't mind meeting some people in my area too. Moved to Tracy about 5 years ago and haven't really had time to meet people around here, except my neighbors. haha.

I'm finishing up my engineering degree and have good knowledge of electrical wiring (12v through 480volts), mechanics, computers, can weld steel (although my dad is an awesome welder and I can always get help if I don't think I can do it). I'm more than happy to help out in any way I can. If you think you need some building advice or electrical questions or whatever, just ask me. If I know, or can help, I'll gladly do it.

    Thanks!

    Am located in Tracy, CA.

Hey @tyfoon11 . Am planning on it. Joined this forum not too long ago. Already plan on making the xmas tree run this year to upper lake with the wife and little guy. Hoping to squeeze in a few more meets, if any present themselves. If you could, let me know which ones you're going to. I work in Concord and Antioch area quite a bit, and looks like you're from concord.

I ordered them when I bought the diffs, but now that you mention it, I didn't see them in the boxes. I do have some vibration now, but only at 10mph or so. Going to call them tomorrow morn and see what happened with my bushings. For some reason, I though that maybe they came pre installed, but now that I think about it, they could t have been..

It's pretty easy to switch the bearing out for the bushing

Yeah, it's not a big deal. Just need to pull out needle bearing and install bushings. Are you running them now? If so, did you have vibration before and no vibration after?
