    Look a little closer to the right and left of the latch hook, I can clearly see the dips, or rise actually.

    I think I know what you mean. The gap between the sill plate and the plastic molding at the latch?

    No... If you follow the sill from either end, towards the latch hook you'll see the hook sits in a dipped area.

    All I can say is that I've had mine on for about 1 year now in winter and summer, and that 3M tape is holding fast. I did make sure the plastic protector was well cleaned before the G-Tek installation.

    Good to hear then... I would think extreme cold would cause the VHB to let go but I guess 3Ms data is incorrect.
