Does anyone else feel like they are sitting too low in the drivers seat. I have a 2010 DC with leather. I have a short torso and I feel like I would like to be an inch or 2 higher in the seat. Using a cushion is a pain. Has anyone ever raised their seat and if so, how did you do it?

I always see the reviews complain about seat height, I don't see it, but I have short legs and a long torso so that might be why it works for me. I was surprised that the seats don't have a height adjustment, my Camry does. Not sure how the seats are attached to the floor, maybe you cane use spacers and a longer bolt. Try a Google search to see if something comes up, this complaint has been around for a while.

This has been discussed, nobody seems to be a fan of using spacers to raise the seat due to the safety concerns and everyone seems to say just get use to it, try different seat positions. Maybe try talking to a custom fab shop if there is one in your area.
I'm only 5'3", short in the torso and I don't think the height is low at all, I wish the steering wheel telescoped out about another inch though.

Mine feels too high. I am constantly hitting my legs on the bottom of the steering wheel, even though it's raised as high as it can go. Once I get in I am ok. Climbing in and out is where it gets me. I am 6'

Fiber- Try some seat covers?? Most folks report a bit fo a lift to seat height after the WO covers go on. There is a fair bit of padding in there from the neoprene.

Same here. I also had visibility issues and had to pull the driver's side sun visor as it was blocking my view even when folded up.

I've since replaced the seats with much lower ones and haven't had a problem since.

What seats did you use to get it lower?
It does not look like there is much room under there to lower them much.

im 5'11" and would like about a half inch more height out of the driver seat. the pedals and steering wheel seem to be at odd distances from each other, i think a bit more seat height would even things out a bit. maybe a peice of thermarest cutout underneath a seat cover? that would probably work pretty well, without looking too bootleg.

It's pretty clear that everyones body is different and we all have different needs. My problem is my short torso. Also, my problem got worse after I did my front lift. Add to that, a hood scoop in my face all the time that I'm not used to. My vehicles have always had power driver's seats that had so many movements that they could please just about any body type. I was hoping to get this with the Taco when I ordered leather but it didn't happen. I think it's my only dissapointment with it so far ( that and the crappy tunes).

FWIW my wife's '07 4Runner has power seats and they look like they would bolt right in the Tacoma, they go up and get me in a better position. I'm short too and this might be the answer.
Getting the 4Runner power seat and then doing the wiring is the problem.

My seat feels just fine, but I'm only 5'7". I actually wish the steering wheel rose up a little higher because depending on my shoes (work boots or tennies) my knee gets jammed up down there.

Thanks for the suggestion. My truck is brand new so I would have to find a brand new 4runner seat but it would be nice!
