Wow. When I did my cheapo spacer lift I had no idea what I was doing and was trying to follow the directions. This video just made me believe in a god possibly. I did mine in the most unsafe fashion imaginable and is a big reason why I have not upgraded to something more than a rough country spacer lift. My wife is going to hate you for showing me the right way to do this now $$$$$

I banged, pulled, pressed, pushed, you name it in order to get the LCA low enough to fit the strut. Had to line the LCA bracket notch with grease to make it slider easier. Used the jack idea to compress and decompress but never loosened the LCA, I was too afraid I would fuck it up. Took me and my other buddy 2 hours a side to get all together. I may just redo this and make sure its done right.

The video makes it look simple but with my luck i'll find a way to screw it up and /or cut/kill myself.
(I too wass thinking ratchet straps and other dumb ways too do this)
I need stock ubolts because the back has a 1 inch block along with 4 TSB leaf springs. I plan on going down on the current lift from the 3" Revtek to maybe 2.5 (2nd setting on the Billies plus the Eibachs) as a precautionary measure and a better ride. I don't want the back end to be higher then the front and the current ubolts are too long. I would like it leveled.
    Thanks

BTW im currently running 285-70-17 Duratracs and think i will have to do more trimming.

Using 2 people help here. One person to hold the LCA down, the other to put the strut in. If the bushings are binding because of age or wear, loosen up the crown nut that holds the UCA to the spindle together to get an inch or 2. That'll help tremendously.
