    Who makes it though? Looks similar to what I remember of the OBX one.

    No way that should be so cheap, unless they have overstock and are trying to give them away. Not if that is quality 304ss.

    The benefit is being able to add a 70mm throttle body from a late model 4runner or FJ. The stock TB is 65mm.

    I haven't seen any numbers for this on an NA taco. You'll probably want to hit up Gadget at URD to see if he has any dyno runs. I can't imagine it adding much of anything to an otherwise-stock motor. The ECU is still going to hold a 14.7 AFR unless you stand on the gas. I would think that means the throttle body would be slightly more closed to compensate for the larger diameter, but my logic may be bass ackward.

    The plate is an adapter with diameter of 70mm to 65mm.

    Even at 70mm, the throttle body is still probably the more restrictive componments. The more restrictive parts are elbows, reducers, and valves like the thorttle body. A larger area will reduce air speed trough the TB and then the pressure loss. The plate is not expensive. The problem is to find a Throttle body. 70 mm seems to be harder to find then the 76 mm and it can be very expensive.

    I dont think you'll find specific number for that mod.

    The 70mm adapter port matches the I.D. of the OEM plenum of the single VVT-I engines. Thus the 70mm TB with that adapter, into the OEM plenum is a smooth straight shot.

    The stock 65mm TB, which comes with single VVT-I engines is smaller in I.D. than the plenum which it bolts to.

    The TRD S/C is port matched with the 65mm TB.
