I don't think that is unusual. Not all dealers participate. The ones that do may not have agreed on the 2016 models and prices yet.

I have only one dealer in my area that works with Costco. When I checked yesterday, the Costco website says that 2016 pricing info is not available for my dealer, either. Since each dealership negotiates individually with Costco, different dealers will have those prices available at different times. I have a message in to Costco to see if pricing is available at said dealer, with the hope that perhaps the site just hasn't been updated (doubtful). Patience be the order of the day...

I tried putting different zip codes into USAA and found the prices varied tremendously. Anywhere from $200 ABOVE MSRP to $2,000 BELOW MSRP.

I Imagine it negotiated per dealer.

I did the same thing. Stumbled upon one that was 2400 below msrp and they were actually willing to honor the price. Even the ones that were barely below msrp didn't want to honor the true car price. Greedy bastards

If you live in an area with multiple Toyota dealerships, you can receive Costco/USAA pricing (or better) without actually using these services. Make the dealerships fight for your business. Blow up the internet managers cell phones and email inboxes.

Where are you located? I went on google and found all the Toyota dealerships within a few hours of me then went into TrueCar through pentagon federal (or USAA) and kept changing the zip code until one came up with a decent price. But it's in Woodbridge, VA. Nothing around here is coming up with a Costco price, the one dealer that usually works with them said they don't have the inventory to be able to discount as much as Costco wants

I received a myriad of estimates from true car/ usaa. From msrp to invoice using one zip code.

So did I. But after calling most of them they were not willing to honor the true car price their dealer was advertising

The participating dealers in my area only have 2015 pricing. Nothing for the 2016 Taco. I don't expect it to happen for quite some time.

For me at least, the best part of using Costco is avoiding this entirely. I find it very unpleasant at best. A prearranged fair price is worth a lot in my book.

Agreed. How much is your time worth. Mines worth more than weeks fighting with dealers.

I would like to know where people are finding 2400 under as well. I tried the USAA car buy widget and used all the zip codes within a 6-8hr drive of me. All the prices were right at msrp.

Man thats unlucky. If im not mistaken, isn't the guy that said he was able to get the Costco price from the Salt Lake City area? Might just come down to luck. You may find one on there and the dealership may still not honor it.

Yeah was just trying usaa for anywhere around for comparison. Looking into costco as well, because yes someone on here got a great deal through them in my area.

I tried Costco and came up empty handed, I even tried Costco in your area just to see how good of a deal it was but still no luck. Wonder where he went....

I had a dealer initially contact me after submitting a quote request through a car buying service. They stopped e-mailing me when I asked for a price. Car service asked me to fill out a survey, and I did. I reamed them on it.
