Ok thanks.. got upper control arms Coming. I asked this question in the ome section.. but it was about the diff drop .. and people stated was not necessary nor recommend.. It left my head confused I would think anything that put your cv angles back to close to factory would-be better than not..I have not bought it yet.. just was wondering about it.. I am just fine tuning things now and making sure I have everything

 

For the amount of drop you would get out of the diff drop, I am not really sure it makes much difference in the CV angles.

 

yea a diff drop is good it wont max out your cv when flexing on truns and most people that dont have cv drops are mall crawlers lol

 

you get about a 1 to 1.50 inches of drop

 

It rotates your diff forwards and it's hard to get oil in the rear of your diff. I'm gonna install mine when I do 4in and give it extra oil

 

What about people who just don't have CVs lol

 

Mine was no where near that amount of drop.

really the ones i gave to boogyman are about a 1.25 inches

 

and i have 1 more set if anyone needs them i just need to find the bolts to them

 

I think an aftermarket skid is recommended too because the stock skid will touch with a diff drop

Yes. The pucks that are used are about that big, but it does not effectively drop the diff that far. All it does is rotate it. As far as the factory skid plate goes, The diff drop didn't effect that either.

 

I saw a bad pic awhile back where a guy had used his stock skid wheeling and it bent in and knocked a hole into his diff
