nice looking truck man!

 

Sometimes that is the easiest thing... I keep the inside cleaner than I keep the outside for sure... any time I clean it I dread the thought of driving it. The second I get home its dirty again... just the dust on the road.
I do wish I would have gone with a Red or White sometimes...

 

Jekyll - I'm pretty much a anti-chrome guy but I got to say your Tacoma is looking sweet

 

My wife has a white car and it is just as bad as black to be honest. If I were to do it again, silver or gunmetal would be the way i'd go. My last truck was red though and was pretty good at "staying" clean.

yeah, i think red with black accents would look pretty awesome... dont get me wrong i love the black, but it gets dirty and shows to many scratches, I originally wanted the gun metal gray, and test drove that color too, but when i got back to the dealership and parked next to a black one i changed my mind on the spot and went black, dont regret it, if i had to do it again though i would pick differently.

 

Black w/ red accents is the way to go

If I do red w/ black or vice versa I will be deemed a UGA fan since I'm in Georgia lol I don't really follow sports so it would just get awkward

 

I'm happy you sent me that. I painted my badges red but have yet to put them back on cause I didn't think it was gonna look all that good... Just changed my mind!

 

That's awesome! Honestly I saw it on an F-150 local to me and thought it would look better on a Taco...It does IMO

 

To bad I don't remember where they go on the side. I'm gonna have to do it off of pictures so it won't be exact

 

If you look they sit about an inch and a half above the indent down the body on each side and about 2 1/2-3" behind the curve of the flares where they end on your door panel. I can take better measurements if you'd like

 

No need! That's close enough I appreciate it! If worse comes to worse I'll go to the dealership sometime during the night and measure it haha

i just got this 2013 about a month ago. regular cab, 4cyl, manual trans. love it. eventually i'd like to get some of those trd beadlock wheels (maybe the bronze??) and some all terrain tires. but im in no hurry to upgrade. i did just get an extang solid fold 2.0 cover - which seems sweet so far.

 

These are gonna be rare considering they won't make anymore regular cabs.

 

Just added a set of Duratrac's (265/70/17), replaced a well worn set of Nitto Terra Grapplers. Bring on the snow!

I wanted to do the grill and DRLs too but can't get over the sticker shock! Nice to see what it'd look like on a black truck. Thanks for sharing.
