Only had one bad rear spring, good one bounced it over onto it's side, where the battery fell out and and bent skid to hell, causing the rear defrost to electrocute all in truck.

Will need the rare 3' left side spacer to equalize ride height.

My only complaint about my 2010 is the lack of manual windows, like WTF. Oh and the dents.

I am not going to read through 400+ posts, and if I'm repeating other's thoughts I apologize. Having said that ... did you even research or sit in your truck before taking delivery?

    - The auto lock after remote unlock is way too quick.
    - The tailgate is weaker than the one on my side by side.
    - No rear defrost.
    - Touchscreen is way too small for my big fingers.

    No test drive required ....

Interesting. I've owned 2 VWs and my wife one, which I can't wait to get rid of. Fun to drive, but otherwise unreliable pieces of shit. Something always going wrong. I will never give VW my money again. Their recent headlines are pretty awesome too.

I'm on my third Toyota, a 15. It was only with great reluctance I gave up each previous truck, the 93 "totalled" by a fallen tree limb (I drove it away, safely and easily), and the 01 Xcab up for sale now only because of a growing family and needing a DC. Zero probs of any subtance so far, after a whopping 1700 miles LOL. Given the option in it's class and my needs...there were no other options.

I kept the window price sheet from my 2007 until I purchased the 2015. I compared the two so I could see the changes. There was no listing of VVTi for the 07, but is the first line item on the 15. I can tell the difference in acceleration. I also had a 2011 4Runner with the VVTi and it had really good acceleration (no sports car I assure you).

The tacoma has always had vvti. 05-15 is basically the same truck aside from some updates.

Ok, I think it's time for me to sign off this thread. 459 bad rear defrost jokes has me speechless. Later
