Haha yea we couldn't open the other side (where the ladder goes) because of the whole extra section of the tent since we just had it on the ground. But yea hopefully we get it set up tomorrow. We are excited to see how big it actually is.

It comes with the newer style fly. The brown with the sides on the fly.
We did this to help keep the weather out.

@pyriteCO, congrats on the Mt. Shasta! We ordered the same one and I am hoping to get ours delivered today or tomorrow.

Did they need to use the lift to deliver your tent? I saw there was another $50-$65 fee if they do.

I installed a Racor pulley rack in the garage last night getting ready for our tent. Highly recommend looking into it for both storage and installation (if your garage provides enough clearance). (Racor PHL-1R Pro HeavyLift 4-by-4-Foot Cable-Lifted Storage Rack). It was pretty easy to install, but it would have been nice to have a helper.

Same, does the bachelor come with its annex or is that separate?
If I go with the bachelor, the saving would allow me to get an awning!

We actually picked ours up from FedEx at the dock. We weren't going to use the lift gate though if they would have brought it. Me and my husband were able to lift it up and onto our trailer, so it wasn't a big deal. Just depends on your situation. We actually have that pulley rack already! We use it for my camper shell! We love it!

You know ive been debating that too, but I started to think, currently when I camp, and its raining, I am exposed trying to unzip and crawl into the tent, the bachelor cant be any worse than that

We were sold on the Shasta due to the ladder being on the inside. We wanted the cover if its raining, and the privacy. I read a lot of places that with the ladder on the outside, water pours off the roof right on to where you would be going in. Again, it's all personal preference.

They come with mounting rails, but they are separate. Because it all depends on how you want to mount it to your truck, whether you want it going off the side or the back, they mount different.

So you can adjust the width of the mounting rail spread?

Looks like I will pull the trigger on the Mt. Shasta! Thinking about making the drive up there in a couple of weeks to pick up.
Is the anti condensation mat needed?

For anyone on the fence and wondering, this is what the Shasta looks like all assembled. It's a must have and I just recently put it up!
