    HI
I'm currently doing the same research. My advice would be to contact Mr Marv on this site. I called him yesterday and he was very informative on what different options we have for these trucks. He advised me to put in a "console" type box that would go right behind the stock console and would house 1 10" sub.

The stock console in my truck is right between the two front seats. The setup I mentioned would be the sub right behind the console and would continue over the middle part of the back seat. I also like this idea as well.

I agree I really like that setup. However I'm not sure how 1 8" Solo Baric would sound. Mr Marv suggested that I go with a 10" sub and build this same console but the sub would be forward fireing and the box would cover the middle part of the seat kind of like a L shaped box if you can picture that.

I had 04 double cab and I had a 10" alpine sub that fired down. The carpet matched the grey interior carpet of the truck. With the amp and my mids and highs I had in the rig it sounded awesome. No vibrations and crystal clear. Very little leg room was given up the back seat and I had it set up to remove the sub by removing the 2 wires. jI still have the set up in my basement collecting dust. I can take pics of it if any of you are interested. or if you had any questions on the set up.

You selling it all? Do you have any photos of the box installed in your truck? What do you want for the box/sub? What Polks are those?

Yeah I'm buying the whole setup. I'm not sure who made the box but I'll let you know how it sounds once I get it installed.

Cool man, I appreciate it. I am thinking that that may be the way to go in these trucks. Then you still have a little room behind the rear seat.

Putting a sub behind the center console is good idea. I thought about doing that also but wanted it out of sight. I had a custom box built for two 8" Kicker slim subs behind the rear seat. It sounds pretty good, I'm happy with it.

I had the box done by car toys, it was way too expensive, but they did a bang up job. the system sounded so good in my 04. As for pics, I do not have any of it in the truck. I was really surprised at how little leg room I gave up. The only drawback was I couldn't recline the seats all the way back.

Thanks for chiming in and giving the info. I didn't think about reclining the seats. So, I guess its a trade of between that and having a little room behind the rear seat.
