So you don't have an in-line fuse?

At first I did not just to find a power source. Now I have a mini in line fuse.

Just got my dual USB in the mail, it took less than two weeks for it to get to me from China. I'll probably install it this weekend, I just need to find out where to buy an in-line fuse. RadioShack? Car toys?

I just finished installing this on my 2015 and took a short cut that my mechanic brother sugested. Instead of taking all of the molding apart I simple put a screw 1/2 way into the blank that I was removing and gave a small tug, it comes right out. Then all you have to do is fish the wires thru, I did this by taping them to a long thin screw driver and inserting it thru the hole where the blank was. The whole thing took less then 5 minutes to complete.

Welcome to TW! And what an awesome thing to read, I'm actually doing this install later today and was not lookin forward to the bezel removal. Where did you run your wires to after you fished them through?

I connected the negative to the dash bolt just to the right of the steering wheel and fed the hot over the steering column to the fuse box. The bolt has a plastic cover over it so none of the wiring is even visible.

Where in the fuse box? The same place that the OP mentioned?

Yes but I used a connected that just clamps onto the existing wire so there is no slicing. I don't know what the connected is called but I've used them on other vehicles to hook up trailer light harnesses.

I have a 09 Tacoma that I want to put dual USB chargers into under the heater controls. I originally bought a 'dual USB' module off Amazon but it only fit the switch blanks by the steering wheel. I need to find a USB charge module that will fir the smaller blanks under the stereo / heater controls. Thanks in advance!
