After I tightened up my belts , I have a whining and knocking sound that goes away after I turn the steering wheel. And now I've heard I have a wooshing sound after hitting the gas.

    What are your thoughts?

Power steering pump and idler pulley?

Do all of the idler pulleys use the same bearing ?

Get something to scrap the bottom, nothing too sharp as in you don't want to break it. Also there is a youtube video on how to do it. Takes more work but works

Starting to think I over tightened the belts.

The woosh looks like it might be a idler pulley. But there's 3....

The knocking seems to be coming from the powersteering pump since it goes away after I turn the wheel but comes right back as soon as i stop.

Guess I'll be removing belts and diagnosing this weekend ...

Wouldn't the 2-bolt exhaust flange be for joining sections of exhaust pipe together?

I need the mini "flange looking thing" that welds to the side of the midpipe behind the 2nd cat and has 2 studs sticking out of it so that the O2 sensor can be attached...

Oh I misunderstood. I've seen those before but I don't remember where. Did you need that in stainless or mild steel?

I think this is what your looking for.

That's what I was talking about, weld on o2 sensor flange. Had to get one to put on my new exhaust.

Just buy bolts and lock washers that go into it.

    Close!

    Here is my O2 sensor:

    1002151351.jpg

It needs to be nutted on to a couple studs. This is what the piece I need looks like:

    1002151352.jpg

Preferably in stainless to match my new exhaust.

Here is what the guy put on for me:

    1002151351a.jpg

He misunderstood that I wanted to re-use my stock sensor and put on a mount for the universal sensor. I've read that the universal won't work with the stock/denso front sensor.

He doesn't know where to find the mount that I'm looking for so told me to find it and bring it to him and he'd mount that for me instead!

Any/all help appreciated! I've done a bit of searching myself but come up short so far..

I have the same sensor as you. Don't have a pic on my phone. Call cxracing.com. they have them for relatively inexpensive. I couldn't find a link on their website. They have complete turbo kits for our trucks. (5vzfe). You just need to bolt yours to the new flange after its been welded.

Ahhh that makes sense. Thank you guys for the help! I'll order one in stainless and bolt it all up.

Looks like @SilverGhost and @nagorb are on the same page haha. You guys are awesome:thumbsup:

The Bosch and NGK brand a/f sensors so have a threaded body that you screw the oval mounting plate onto, just like a old school O2 sensor. They are not the OEM DENSO unit, but its worth taking a look at if youre set on using the round mounting.
