And I'll confess, not sure I'd do some of those personally; if I did I'd want all the right stuff...airbags, sway control devices, and so forth.

EDIT: Set up properly, it can be done.

Funny thing you should put that picture up....I just got done listening to a radio program where they were talking with a gentleman who just received a patent on a toilet seat that has a "sack deflector" built into it to keep your 'nads from splashing into the water (or worse) whilst ya use the latrine. I was totally unaware that was a problem that needed a solution. Then I log into TW and find solutions in need of a problem. It's a wonderful world.

IIRC, that's the command post/Coms variant of the M113 APC. I rode all over West Germany in one of the troop carrier versions during NATO REFORGER training in the late '70's. We could do a whole series of threads on those junky pieces of scat.

Didn't read past page one, but most of that is just bad luck/preference, but what else did you expect with 33" tires?! Probably heavy as crap load range E too. Price to pay to play...

    >>>alright, here is my first real BROFLEXIN on the internets<<<

I will never reveal the entire truth because I need to keep specifics about what I do private.
any admin can chase down my IP's and figure this one out if they want

O so funny you say change the loopback so I can reach the rest of the world...

    too funny actually

guess what ? if you have any internet enabled device, or connectivity, or bluetooth, wi-fi, laptop, computer,
from 1998 to now (and for the foreseeable next 20 years) your device is running and using code
(encryption algorithms) I either wrote personally, or had my hand in. I already have global reach, dingus.

Yes I am one of those guys who works at a company that does the critical encryption mathematica
everyone and every chipset uses, from governments to mom-and-pop... and our code is installed -every place you can name-.

there are about 30,000 scientists and researchers around the globe working on encryption and cracking
encryption, I happen to be one of the peeps with a very early hand in data encryption standards...and the
code we developed years ago (and today) is embedded in all yer devices. In the Air Force guess what I did ?
    crypto

it isnt' that big a deal, if you develop a standard or ten, everyone has to use it. but it is just funny that you said
loopback and come out to the rest of the world...I already AM out there everywhere...so I had to say something

and NO I cannot crack our own code, I don't have magic. this stuff is one-way. security exploits you read about
are not about cracking encryption, it is more like some dingus exposed his credentials and someone social-engineered
them....and the network admins who should be protecting the critical assets are too stupid to monitor things or the
CEO's have weak policies on security. but our code is wicked secure I can tell you that

    anyhow, too funny

That describes every Toyota. Must your first one? They've always lacked power. I don't understand why people buys these for daily use. Only way these are a decent truck is with A LOT of modifications. They've always been that way, no surprise. no different than buying a Jeep JK, they are great for modifying for off road use, that's about it

^^ I am gonna go back to what this thread is about, toyota bashing and 2015 taco

Toyota has a strategy that emphasizes reliability over excitement

They take a conservative approach to redesign and roll out new features slowly.

The risk is they may not have the latest bells and whistles, but the reward is world class reliability
