I'd say go as big as your budget allows. You're going to appreciate the extra room up there more than you'll dislike the added weight and size when stowed.

No, I was going to but the you constantly have to step around the ladder to get into the back of the truck. Not a huge deal but not for me.

I did it with my Tepui. The eezi awn is too wide and looks stupid but it worked great when I had the smaller tent. Yours will work perfect

I wish it would cool down so I could use mine. It's still in the 80s here.

Id still rather have 80s. It was that weather last week and now its chilly. Was quite a cold ride on the motorcycle into work this morning, ha

Let me know how that goes and what you use. I dont have any decent sleeping bags as of right now so i was thinking just some heavy blankets.

Yeah but it's been close to 90 and biking/ walking 2 miles to campus then sitting in a crowded lecture hall with no AC for 2 hours listening to Econ theory gets old.

This is like the first week we've had that the temps haven't been in the 100s so 1+ for progress. Gersh. I need to find a topper so I can begin researching getting one of these tents. :D

When i got my tepui i found this dent, i dont know if the ups people did it or came from Tepui like that, anyways i wasnt going to return it,its just a dent, nothing broken, i really think the material they use iskinda weak, i installed this sticky rubber mats and it came out really nice, will see if its gonna hold up!

But I live in a beach town. It's supposed to be 70 every season. We don't have seasons here at UCSB.
Nice! Where did you get that mat?

    stuff
I agree that the base material is somewhat weak. Mine got pretty dented up in a hail storm, even with the cover on. However, that's just cosmetic and I don't really have any concern about the longevity of the material.
