What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Never found one in stainless either......I think caligula ^^^^^^^ has a good idea. Get a different o2 sensor to save you from removing and rewelding exhaust pipe. If I understand correctly?

 

If you asked me, id usually say the same thing as everyone else. Just throwing out the option if youre feeling adventurous. I was able to grab a

$99 Bosch 13613 Premium OE Fitment Oxygen Sensor - Compatible with Select Toyota 4Runner, Tacoma, Tundra

Bosch 13613 for $55 on ebay (normally $105 on Amazon). Still have it, just in case.

 

I'd rather not, as then I'd have to replace the front O2 sensor as well. I think that I'll just have the guy weld one of these O2 flanges on, shouldn't need to remove the exhaust pipe for that.

Headed to work now, I'll look for a stainless one later. I don't have the tools to make one, so I'll keep you in mind if no stainless ones are on the market.

Wait a sec, is all this for the upstream or downstream sensor? If its the downstream, then you dont need anything special, any generic sensor will do. Its a classic narrow band sensor that is just monitoring post cat O2 consumption, it has no impact on engine management.

 

Youre going to have to pull it out anyway. Just buy a new reservoir, problem solved.

 

That'd be my guess haha, I had nothing on the bottom I just need to change my fluid. But my A/C pulley froze so that fixed my problem

No shops had reservoirs in stock and it was all taken apart, so F it!! I will be replacing it eventually...

Need some help. So I've been looking at ECU's and Im finding two different part numbers for them. My question is, is one going to be a TRD and the other NON TRD? An ebay one I saw was a TRD and the part number is 89661-0Y021. Then on a website where I'm looking up parts I also see 89661-0Y020.

 

Trust me. The carpet will be removed! @DCSBFTMFW told me I should take bets on how many pounds of pubes I'll vacuum out of it
