There is no one getting this sought after tire in a 33" flavor for under 200 dollars...

I got them for $740.49 out the door mounted and balanced. Come to find out but I get lifetime mounting and balancing as well; just have to remind them that I got them there.
Also, parts manager came to me and said if I find them cheaper to let him know within 30 days and he will get me the difference. Tread depot has them for 183 a tire. I got them for 198.71. Looks to me that I am getting $47.13 back. So, 693.36 is looking like the end total. Not too bad.

Thanks I'm having trouble deciding on that size or the 255/85/16...either way this tire is what I'm looking for.

    Hello,

I'm new to the forum and this is one of my handful of first posts, I have purchased a 15 Tacoma. I've decided to go with the Cooper ST MAXX in a 255/85/16 with the stock rims and I'm very excited about it. I've read through this forum and it looks like an OME 885 with full dakars in the back will clear these tires with no rubbing and mud flaps left on is this correct? Trying to decide on my lift since it will be 99.9% pavement pounding and i'm looking for a more stock look and no rubbing or trimming if it can be done.

    Thanks

    Just got my 255/80-17's!

Love the look, but wish I could have had the option for the white lettering.

They did totally change the handling characteristics of my truck though. I am hoping to get used to them.

If I had the same size as you, that would REALLY suck if mine didn't have white letter.....I don't know though maybe the bigger sizes don't have the option for white letters.

Did you get an alignment? Sounds like your caster is off.

I haven't but will see about getting one. Think that will help?

Nice! What kind of lift are you running?

Definitely will help! No lift here but my mechanic threw the truck up on the alignment rack just to be sure. It was all good!

I can tell a difference in handling with the new tires but I could also tell when my wife got new Michelins on the Camry as well! lol

You say you lifted with spacers, and haven't got a an alignment? Lifting the truck will change the suspension geometry. Its a must! Do a search lots of info. You can find alignment specs in that info. If your caster is too low it will feel like it wants to wander all over the road, ie you saying it feels too sensitive. My guess is your caster is too low. Also do your homework on spacer lifts, there are better options. And yes an alignment should help a lot.
Icon 2.5 coilovers with 700lb 14" coils up front adjusted to 1.75-2" off lift, all pro expo leaf packs in the rear with 10' fox 2.0 remote resi's. I had ome set up before and it was very good also.

Actually, I never said I lifted my truck and didn't get an alignment. I was asked if I got an alignment after putting on the 255's.

    (To give a better timeline)
I am well aware of the need for an alignment after lifting, which is why I did an alignment the same day my lift was installed 2 years ago. I put the 255's on a week ago

Not trying to be a ass, but I didn't want you to think I was a complete idiot. Lol! I am 100% highway/ On-road, which is why I went with a the cheaper spacer lift option.

In your opinion, do you think I could have drifted out of spec in those 2 years since my last alignment? So much that when I put the 255's on it became very noticeable? Thanks!
