Does anyone know if the new taco has shocks or struts up front?

    It's identical to a 15.

In other news, the front end of my 2012 is completely back to stock. Making pretty decent time.

i dont know what the 2015 has either. I dont own one. Asking because I called a shop this morning asking how much they would charge to install the bilstein 5100's on a new taco. He looked up the pricing for the 2015 and said the book indicated there were struts up front.

I argued with him because I was fairly sure they were shocks. Dont think he is retarded as much as his computer was wrong.

another question for you guys. If I am looking for a 2 1/2 inch lift all around, can I just add the bilstein 5100's and place the ring/washer up at the 2 1/2 inch mark? Or is it not that simple? Also, once the shocks are installed, can I adjust them without having to remove them?

They are struts on the front which has the spring around it. The rear is a shock cause it is separate from the leaf spring.

Well thanks for the reply I think. I have been reading this forum for hours brother and just on the lifting topic. Going through pages of threads on lifts. One comment after another, people contradicting one another (just like here a little while ago with the shocks/struts thing) and when you are finished reading it all, you end up more confused than anything else....because there is no consensus on anything.

One person says "A, B, C"... then the next person says that is wrong it is "X, Y, Z".

So, yeah I have used the search function more than you can imagine.
