I plan on platidping only the grid portion of the grille. Keep the chrome trim and emblem and the smoked bars and emblem surround.

First time post! Thought I would share this with you after feeling a little conflicted about having my MGM TRD Sport DC come in next week (Really love the silver, but none in the area and don't want to wait till december.) Thought I had made a mistake, but after mocking this up, I feel a little better about being able to clean up the big blingy front end. Going darker should help a lot on the MGM...

The cheese grater / gnarly teeth look is just too busy in chrome.

The grill problem will be taken care of by after market solutions. There are plenty of grill options for the 2 nd gen, there will be for this. If surround matches the body color and isn't chrome you make the grill dramatically smaller visually regardless. The grill debate is way over worked. If you look at a my car from front to back, the front always looks bigger, especially in pictures. In real life, the grill just isn't that prominent.

As a personal preference, I think it looks much much better dipped out in matte black. Especially in the MGM and those wheels. I'm still not a fan of the grill pattern either way BUT it's not the worst thing ever ... just could have been better.

Not a big fan of the new grill set up, but I think with time, we'll get used to it!
Kinda like having a girlfriend with a smoking hot body, just has a big nose...
Either keep her or look for something else...
