    I'm on my first 500 miles of my TRD OR. I just took a 200 mile highway ride at 75MPH and I'm only getting 16.0 MPG. I'm a little disappointed especially when I'm seeing others getting in the 20's. As result, I'm curious to get more info form other 2016 users.

    Be sure to include Model (SR5/SPORT/OR) Drive (2WD/4WD) and engine.

    Damn, 16 over 200 miles at 75mph is pretty garbage unless traffic was just terrible... did you do the math yourself at the pump or check avg. mpg on the dash?

    With my TRD 4x4 auto, I'm averaging 18mpg+ and that's almost 100% city driving and not even close to broken in at around 150 miles. I haven't done any extensive freeway driving so I can't comment on what that would be.

    I actually was averaging more around town @ 16.9. Something doesn't make sense.

    On the Toyota website it says 17cty/20hwy for the off road trim. That's still pretty lousy though imo. Most full size trucks can average 16mpg or better.. I get 16.5 in a 2004 double cab tundra with a V8.

    Huh? The stickers say 19/24 or 18/23 depending on if it's 4wd or not.

    In fact, I'm looking at the website now and it says 19/24 (I assume for 2wd) so I'm not sure how you came across those numbers. lol

    If you go to the toyota website and go click tacoma, then go to build. You'll see the 5 trims listed with the estimated mpg's for each trim.

    That's weird.. maybe it goes by the zip code that's entered. mine says 17/20 for OR and 17/21 for sport.

    No kidding! I just sold my 2014 thinking this would be a great move. Better/more features and better gas mileage. I use my truck for business and put on about 20K a year. I like the OR for the weekends and camping. Hope this changes soon.
