Yup, although I didn't get to put my icon uca's on. The passenger side bolt has to be cut and I didn't have anything to replace it with. So I ordered one today and will install the uca's in week or so

Thank you for the recommendation. I went out to Network in Mesa and got it aligned, it definitely needed it.

I guess this is my intro to PHX TW. My name's Chris, and I'm here for another three weeks, but hey, here's my truck I bought from the Toyota dealer in Peoria in August, haha.

TPD- I must have just missed you! We got off the trail around noon.
We did devils staircase with no lift easily. Pic's and video coming soon.

In other area's I did scuff the exhaust where it hangs below the transfer case and drug the hitch a few times.

Fastest car deal ever, literally 10 minutes with Chris and she's in a 16 Sport Prerunner for substantially less than camelback. Thanks @Letsgoplaces

Everytime you say that and considering your commute distance I don't understand why you'd get a Tacoma. I'm still at average 17 both on the computer and calculated.

Pasted from part of my update to the OP in the thread in my sig. Much more info and pic's at the bottom of that OP.

Crawl control works incredibly well however it is noisy. One section in the trail I engaged CC for a small assent. There was a hiker sitting on a rock about 100 yards away. As I started down she quickly looked over at us and she must have been thinking, “What the hell is wrong with that truck!” It was almost comical as she did a few double takes looking at us. See the video below going down ‘Devils Staircase’ and notice how loud CC is!

The BFG KO2’s work great on and off road. No rubbing at all offroad. On road they do ride stiffer than the OEM tires.

I drug the hitch a few times and scraped the exhaust that hangs below the transfer case once. One obstacle I stopped to take a few photo’s. I ended up backing out of it because if I continued I may have taken out the exhaust and rocker panels. I for sure need rock sliders and I am trying to talk myself out of a lift. Seems to be a loosing battle ;)

There was no dragging at all on devils staircase.

The truck worked very well offroad!

Pictures and a video of the crawl control:
    IMG_5187_zpsom9bemep_c6ebba30f6e0539fb7f5cc09afd7d6ecc20308fc.jpg

Ended up backing off of this one. Exhaust and rocker panels were to close for comfort!

I met up with a 2nd Gen taco near submarine rock. Turns out he drives for pink jeep tours. I asked what he though of a stock taco going down the staircase and he said it would be no problem. Once I got there and looked it over I went for it. Plus I was kind of committed already :)

I'm sure you already thought about it but what about extending out the length of the finance so you can afford the extra costs of the truck and lower your monthly a bit?

True but even the added costs of the "fancier" truck would be a selling point down the road if you wanted to resell. Bone stock or fully loaded, Tacomas will always sell and hold their value compared to any truck out there. You're always gonna pay more to get into them but will re-coupe a larger percent on the back end when you sell compared to other trucks.

It's how the crawl control works. Brakes grabbing and letting go a zillion times a second.

This is how it sounds inside the cab:
