Check baby's rus. We have a thing for the pilot from there. Works. I might cut a board for the seat to sit on for the truck.

My buddy has a rubber mat for his Audi that makes it super easy for him to clean up and prevents the denting and creases from the seats. Can't remember the brand right now but I'll ask him next time I see him.

I honestly just use a folded towel. Costs free!

^^ yup! That's the same thing I was just going to post. I would think a rubber mat would be more effective but I'm sure that works fine.

    here is my set up:

    Under the seats for protection.

This brand of seat fits great and is easy to work with. It was pretty pricey though.

Kicks mats were a great addition.

DrFunker, looks like a workable setup. May I ask your height? Looks like plenty of room behind driver's seat.

I have 5 yr old twins and have been through car seat and now booster seats. Had no problems. I am 5'10 and my wife is 5'7 and we can go anywhere comfortably. Although it's more comfortable in wife's 14 Avalon. I have factory leather so I just used new towels under the seats. Works great for me. I use those summer seat savers in wife's Avalon (also leather).

I'm bringing this thread back to life... I'm expecting our fist in January and been researching infant/ 3 in one seats and so on. Can anyone of you dads recommend a good seat that will fit in the back cab? Is it better to go with a 3 in one thing or infant then toddler then booster? Again, any recommendations are appreciated.

My experience is infant seats are infant seats only. Then you move to a forward facing 3n1.

@Sefferston likes his convertible seat. We looked at the one he recommended but it was huge. We decided to get an infant seat and upgrade when needed, since we will have more kids anyway it doesn't hurt anything.

Congrats on the baby. Mine just turned 9 weeks.

Thank you, you too. Looks like I'm going with an infant seat then.

I tried my convertible in a double cab last week. I'm 5'11", and I'd have to put the seat 1-2 click further forward than I'd ideally want in order to have the seat mounted rear facing. It fits fine in the middle between the front seats with both all the way back.

I've got that one thing, and that other one thing, oh yeah and that other other one thing.
I do like the seat. It's fantastic, but there is literally only a fists width of space between the end of the seat and the passenger seat.
