I have a 97 Tacoma and I'm missing what the schematic calls the "filler". It's the small body piece that fits under the headlight.
Anyway, I ordered one this week and what appears to be the wrong one. But, it's the correct part number. The part I need is rounded on the inside corner but the one they sent is squared off. The clips that I ordered for this same filler piece are wrong too.

Has anyone had to order this piece on their 97? And did you have any problems getting the right part?

Obviously they are side specific, eg driver's/passenger's. Or you could have bought the 2WD fillers. Different than the 4WD.

Go to rockauto.com, that's where I ordered the filler pieces.

    (R/L) 95-97 4WD Bumper fillers (PN R: 52512-35020, L: 52513-35020) - buy them from Rockauto, they're $3.50 ea.

See, that's the thing, the part number you have there isn't the number the Toyota fische lists for this year. I don't get it.
Did you order the retaining clips as well? Did they send the correct clips?

Those are rockauto part numbers, not OEM.

They came with the clips in them but they are utterly useless. My driver side one fell out.

I have to replace it and when I do I'm epoxying both in place.
