Ok cool, thanks for the pic. I'll keep this in mind if the vibes are to much for me. I read in the LT thread I was going to get vibes from the mounts. But I needed a solid mount. So I figure I would give it a try then go from there.

Cool. If you need the link from Marlin Crawler, I'll dig it up.

I have the 2.7, A340F and an Inch Work 4.7 Lefty. I must say, the TG mounts were awful. In all fairness to TG, I also tried the mount from MC.. much better quality but I still had some vibration. Now, none at all.

Had I performed this mod prior to purchasing and shipping, I would have saved $225.00. The two grade 8 bolts, nylock nuts and Teflon washers were around 12 bucks.

So I picked this up today. It was only a couple of miles from my work. I checked the trucks vin number with Mountain States Toyota Parts to verify it was compatible with what I needed. I guess I got lucky.

:pccoffee: I really need to get my lazy ass going and get to work. No more using long hrs at work as an excuse. Im also going to throw on the TC kit too because I'm going to weld in the coil bucket gussets now that the motor is out. (it just makes it easier)

This is all I was able to do before my back started acting up again. I'm in no big hurry and it was a good day.

I moved the truck over to the left side of the garage. I took off the bed to give me a little more room. Removed the sway bar, and steering rack. Almost finished the passenger side.

Damn Ray now that the entire front is apart like that you could reinforce the frame rails or start on a front cage. So much room for activities! :D

Yeah I have some welding to do now that everything is apart. Rear cam tabs, motor mount ears (where the bolt goes through) and coil bucket gussets.

Nope. Not my flavor of ice cream. :D

The ball joint (or whatever its called) on top of the spindle is broken loose. But since I never done this before and I need to be careful with my back I figure I just take it apart on my table then laying on the ground. Old man ways.

Now I need to figure out how to convert it to a 4x4 spindle. I've seen it done before but it was years ago. I just need to do some research.

The front cam bolt came out like it was brand new but that back one met my cutting wheel.
