Oh well, I 'll see what I can do with it. If it does fade...I might paint the whole thing red. Might even try to hit the hardware with some Rust-Oleum Rust Reformer I've got sitting around before I install it.

I've had both chrome and black with similar results. The inlayed red and white stripes have also fell out on me. But what can you expect for $7.99?

    Working on it!
Question for you all... I got the TRD emblem with the studs and backing plates.. how did you guys mount it in the grill? The studs on mine are to far apart to sit flush and centered on the grill... should I get the one that has the double sided sticky tape?

    Thanks in advance,
    Nick

This the look I am going for:

    Same as everybody else...
I have the same issue with my Homer Taco grill...I cut off one of the post and just tighten the crap out of the remaining one. A bit of warning, the red and white stripes are decals. Mine came off about 2 weeks into it, I painted the stripes on with enamel model paint.

Did you see the link at the bottom of the page?

FWIW I got the one I had on my front for a while off of Amazon. Since I put on a custom grill I haven't put it back on. I'll send you mine if you pay the cost of shipping. Just send me a PM if you're interested.
