If you can't get at least $3 k off a $30-36 k Tacoma, you are being taken. I did it on my 14 and was looking at a 16 in Charlotte, and right off the bat, they offered it for $3k off the MSRP with no crap added and no hassling for that price.
Also have seen them online for similar discounts.
    When
I got my 14 Sport 2wd, I went and drove it and let them do the math first, they came back with around $11, 500 diff on my trade, a 13 BRZ. I said no way, then they got down in the $7k range, I said no, and told them that I would give them a check for $6k out the door.....they took it. That was after I showed them the true car value of my trade and their online selling quote of $28k on a $31 k Sport dbl cab, about $5500 difference less tax. You need to do and take your homework with you. Oh, and I took along a dealer ad for another Tacoma, who was located up the road in another town. I told then if they would not take that, I was going to see that dealer. My son bought a 14 Taco and got his for similar $3 k off a $29k sr5. Same thing with a friend who had a 14 and sold it back to dealer who bought it back last month for $1700 less than he paid for it 20 months ago and he has ordered a new 16 for $3k off the MSRP with no stuff added. You got to shop and don't throw away your money, walk on them if you have too. They hate to miss a sale!

Strosk how were they on a trade? I have a 2012 White TRD Sport Crew Cab that is cherry. Garage kept with less that 10,000 on her. Chrome wheel covers, JBL with Nav. exhaust tip and Weathertech Floor Liners.

Same truck for $33,189 through USAAs car buying service. Plus a 0.5% savings on my APR for the loan.

$31643 if I get it in a manual

Where are you located? I just checked USAA/Truecar for my area, and the TRDOR DCSB 4x4 with tow is at ~34k....

$750 college grad is not offered on this model year yet... They are lying if they said they're including it. That and the $700 TDA fee might keep me from buying this truck.

Anyone know of a better buying program than Costco? They offer $500 above invoice.. It really only saves about $1,200 after everything is factored in.

It's for the 2015 models... What dealers is it? If I can get them to show proof, maybe I can use it as leverage with my local dealer..

Anyone buying their Tacoma w/o TDA?? My tacoma (2016 DC 4WD OR) has an extra $2K in just processing/handling fees, gas tax, holdback, and TDA! It's outrageous!

I can't show any proof as it won't be taken off until I do the full paperwork (whenever the truck gets in or close to that date) I am not paying any TDA fees

If TDA is 700, their hold back is around 650... Tell then to shove it

I ordered mine last Friday, should be coming in sometime around the end of the month. Limited 4x2, magnetic gray, with tow package, tube steps, and the tonneau cover which will be removed upon arrival to the dealership.

After the college grad discount (which is definitely in effect down in Louisiana for the 2016s), I'm paying $36,500 (before TTL).

They were very fair. My 2012 4Runner with 64,000 miles and minor front end damage on carfax had average KBB value of 24,500. Most dealers were offering me 22,000-23000. One offered me 25,000, but their price on the truck was too high. Aubrey Alexander offered 24,500 and there was no haggling required on either truck price or trade in. It was just a good experience at the dealership and I was satisfied. Granted, the truck isnt built yet and I still have to go back to negotiate finance rate, but I'm hoping for no changes in offer otherwise.

    Just put in my order:
DCSB TRD Off Road, 4x4 A/T, Black, Premium & Tech (w/ JBL), Tow Package, All Weather Mats, Bed Extender, Roof Rails, Mud Guards, Black Tube Steps.
$37,533 (Includes everything but taxes) from Mountain States Toyota in Denver. Looking at $40,404 OTD (7.65% tax) not including my Trade In. Still waiting to hear how long until delivery.

Personally I'd buy the roof rails later. You can buy them cheaper online and then you aren't financing the cost of them
