I'm still in my house...I have 4wd and live in Columbia

But really guys, a once in a 1000 year level of flooding and it's still raining 2 days later. We are on our 11th straight day of rain I think. 9 people so far have died. Employers have refused to close businesses, roads are collapsing, dams are breaching. It's extremely bad and little to no evac done until today

You're a staff member, though. And you drive a Tacoma. Clearly your brain is still intact. :notsure:

Gotta admit, I'll take a fucking four-foot blizzard any day of the week over massive flooding, that's for sure.
Good luck, hopefully you've got plenty of your namesake to nurse you through, lol!

We received the equivalent of 4 months of rain over the course of the weekend...not including the week prior rain

We had something similar but to a lesser degree here last week. We had 4 inches of rain between July 1st and September 29th, and on September 30th we got 6 inches of it.

Not sure about 95, too far towards the coast to really concern my area right now

105 various roads closed in and around Columbia

Whatever your ignorance and personal prejudices regarding the people of South Carolina are, you should keep them to your damn self. At least until this humanitarian crisis is over.

Here's the problem though...we are currently still trying to catch up and barricade roads. Roads are still collapsing. We still don't know everywhere necessary to block off yet

As someone once told me, the general population is barely smart enough to survive. They can barely do the daily minimum requirements to get by without dying. This makes them 2% smarter than turkeys!
