Picked up a bed mat from the dealer, $87 seemed like a good deal to me

 

Got mine at the dealer also. Forget what I paid, but definitely better that sh!t sliding around.

 

100% of the time I throw something in the bed I forget its there, until the first red light

 

Picked up a TRD catback exhaust and threw it on. Install took 20 min by myself no ramp or jacks. Noticed a tiny bit better pick up when passing and the sound is deeper and more sporty but not douchy.. Just the right balance for me. Uploaded a video on YouTube with the before and after sound tests. Shot it with an iPhone so my apologies for the sound quality. Vid doesn't do it justice but I took one anyway.

It's even better when whatever is sliding around back there hits my Hi-Lift jack.... All of this is with the bed mat btw

 

So you carved your pumpkin with your Hi-Lift jack is what I'm hearing? And I know the bed mat won't stop everything from moving, but I hope to God it helps a bit

soooooo..... i tested the distance of the key fob remote tonight i'm on the 9th floor of my hotel and could see my truck in the back of the parking lot off in the distance and figured i'd give it a try.... it works...just sayin...

 

Don't cut the locator tabs as suggested!! 32s might fit without modding, or you might have to bend them slightly with a big hammer. I have a 33 spare and it took less bending than I thought it would. If you cut the tabs, your spare will move forward and jam above your diff, preventing the axle from traveling up.

And an APRS transmitter is stuffed under the plastic storage box under the rear seats, between the plastic box, and the sheet metal of the truck.
