Never cussed at you. I simply let you know other members here have found themselves without employment after committing perceived libel. When you are logged on it's not hard for someone to get your IP and location if they have the right tools. Toyota doesn't need to do things perfect legal wise to have excuse to terminate your employment with them.

Take my advice, don't take my advice, it's all good. :)

What you are saying is a big "fuck you" to your employer, is it not? I'm not giving you grief for saying what you are saying. I'm pointing out that what you said could jeopardize your employment. If you choose to ignore that, then that's your choice.

Sorry to hear that man. My Tacoma came in good shape. So did my Ford built in the USA. Quality is only as good as the quality control people, and if they let that small stuff go buy it will become a problem for the entire brand fairly quickly.

BTW @JimBeam, and you can totally ignore this if you want because it's not something I need to know, but how did Toyota figure out which dealer and employee leaked that information within 24 hours without some tomfoolery? I doubt they hired Gill Grisom to do some forensic handwriting traces or ran a Canary Trap in that amount of time :). Perhaps the OP was an intentional leak... too bad no one will ever know.

Actually he owns at least three Toyota trucks. LC, Tacoma, and Tundra. The Tundra is a 5.7 L so it must of come from the USA with USA parts and the Tacoma is a 2nd gen from here as well. Arguing against his comments brings up all sorts of questions that are usually best left alone. The ignore button can be your friend.

Ya I'm probably going to use that ignore button. He literally get on here and acts like a 12 year old trying to argue with every point. Has he ever said "your right I'm wrong"? Why spend so much effort on the internet to try to prove everyone wrong on here? He hates Toyota, the stuff they do, there new Tacoma, dude just leave and go do something else.

Yup. Hopefully he's not just talking himself up for the new Dezuls coming to the market. The guy needs to get off of this forum or he's going to blow out his colon with all the hate.

Anyways, wasn't this thread about some truck screwing over another truck for sales? I forget :).

I wasn't talking about a 15 year old Camry: I said "even "unreliable" brands are more reliable today than say the Camry was 15 years ago." The powertrain defect rate for the '2000 Camry was 12%, which was much better than average (17%) for that year. The powertrain defect rate for the industry average of midsize sedans a decade later was 6%; in other words, the average midsize sedan of 2010 was twice as reliable as the most reliable midsize sedan of 2000.

Mea Culpa: I was wrong about Mini, they are still sh!t. Powertrain defect rate for the 2010 Cooper was 18%, which is off-the-charts bad. But take another "perceived unreliable" car, the VW Jetta. A 2010 Jetta was twice as reliable as a 2000 Camry in its time.

I moded 1999 Taco so much it had turned to Land Cruiser
I came to the conclusion after my second Tacoma needed a frame. (I also owned 1999 Tacoma that got crushed by Toyota)
One truck had frame problems I can understand, but two WTF.
However, that mistake will not be repeated anytime soon. I may keep 2gen because the longer I keep it the more it costs Toyota. I payed 29K for it, Toyota already dumped 20k in recalls, still waiting for new leaf springs that do not brake under bag of mulch..

    :D
    High Reliability my ass.
