Gap in tailgate

    Bastard! I'm sitting in a coffee shop with my girlfriend and I laughed loudly when I saw that. She looked over, saw the pic and gave me on of "those" looks. I'm on the doghouse now!

    I got me the relentless tailgate. But the plastic don't fit on mine. Tailgate can't raise up and latch with it attached. Need to get mine powdercoated cuz the bedliner spray I painted it with is simply peeling off...

    Just drill or dremel a 1" hole where the rubber bumper hits the tailgate cover. I chalked up the rubber bumper and closed the tailgate to leave a mark where it needs to be drilled first.
    The upper set of screw holes (closer to the top of the tailgate) can also be reamed out so the screws tighten down all the way.
