    Anyone have and suggestions or advice before i go to the store and get supplies???? I have read all the threads about it and feel like i can handle it but advice is always nice

    I grabbed my DPDT DC relay from Radio shack (part 275-218) and the wiring was different than the PDF showed.

    Read this post.

    Just be careful how you use it.....

    If you're still under warrantee and you break something in the driveline due to using the locker in 2WD.... they could deny your warrantee coverage because you disabled/bypassed the factory safety features from the factory.

    it is a really simple mod, my only suggestion would be to unwrap the wires so they are very easy to access.

    get a socket for the relay. don't want to have to disconnect and re-solder everything in the future b/c the relay craps out. just unplug old relay and plug in a new one.

    another set of eyes to verify the wiring would be good. a friend caught a simple mistake i made before i fried anything.

    Thanks for the advice guys.... didnt get around to it today like i thought but im sure i will be able to tom at work lol.... but i have the right relay and the right wiring diagram so i should be good....

    make sure you can undo whatever you do, so if it is a warranty issue, can you fix it

    Just completed the mod tonight, works great. Used Radio Shack DPDT relay. All lights illuminate!(ABS, VCS, and Locker light)
