Sucks they could not get rid of Bickell, but great that they aren't playing him/sending him to the AHL. He skates around like he has no idea WTF is going on out there. They should have never had given him that big ass contract and kept Big Buff instead of him.

 

I'm missing your point. What should the message to the rest of the league say? And you don't think there's league wide messages that get sent out to team reps (like GMs and assistant GMs) after something like this happens? Just because the media doesn't report on it doesn't mean there's no communication.

I'm hoping as part of this rebuild to see more heart and soul guys who grew up as Leafs fans end up back in TO.

 

Corrado is going to be a good defenceman , surprised the Canucks chose the Hutton kid over him after Corrado playing for the Canucks occasionally over 3 years

 

Sounds good. I don't know much about Corrado and the stats don't tell the whole story with young players.

Panik is on waivers now from the Leafs.

 

It is basically the biggest accomplishment the Sharks have ever achieved. I could see them putting that in the rafters .

 

Correct you're missing my point cause you think I'm saying something I'm not. The suspension only speaks to those few who have a bad history. I believe they did this last pre season also and then went back to their usual inconsistency. I never said their was no message to the players, I said I don't believe this particular instance is a message to the league, just a few individuals. Or a message to the teams as a whole, don't sign these type of players.

Bickell was actually a part of the Hawks cup run after Buff had already left. It was his playoff performance in that cup that won him the contract. Sadly he has needed to wear diapers ever since

 

Well aware. They were trying to get buff back after that run, and went with this jackass instead. I guess like anything in life its a gamble.
