Interested in seeing that happen, although I'd hate to see both rigs sold. I'd love to own an fj like that.

How crazy are you looking to get with your FJ 45 build? you can get literally brand new bodies from Aqualu Industries and they make not only the body parts, but the frames as well, so you could start with something brand spanking new and rust free

I also posted this link in my other build thread but felt it was worth sharing here as well.

This spring my buddy Josh was contacted by Petrolicious to do a story on his 1976 FJ40, I helped out with hauling the equipment and crew around (they had a little Nissan sportscar). He just sent me the link of the video, turned out pretty good with some great shots of our local area and a cool story to go with it.

Boulder basin just north of Ketchum ID, same place as the video of the blue fj40.

So I kicked around the idea of selling the truck, even made a trip to Boise and drove a 70 series with the 3B diesel and 5 speed. What I realized was I was more excited about wrenching on something new than I was about the cruiser itself. I did a deep clean/detail on the truck after seeing it buffed out dents and all, my path forward was fuzzy but this is what I came up with build an axle and go from there.

So I picked up a complete 1996 open diff FZJ80 axle with 143K on it, in the process of tearing it down now and this is the current plan 5.29's w/ARB, Hellfire knuckles, blah, blah, blah and cram it into a Ruffstuff housing.

    Yep, why not....

I had these hubs sitting in a box so I tried one out, not the hubs it will end up with. Warns are junk it will have a set of ASCO/Aisin hubs.
