My $12.56 Hood light

I had an extra switch opening on my SPod, so I got me some LED's under the hood. Even have enough left over to do another hood. This was much easier and cheaper than getting a $60 kit and mounting a switch.

What do they look like when they are off? Just curios if they look weird.

 

They are around the tapered rib, so if standing in front of the truck, they are hardly noticeable

 

Nice. How did you wire it to your Spod?

 

with the SPod all I needed to do was run the 2 wires to an opening on the module, in this case for switch #6.
Those light kits they are selling on here have to be wired to the battery, wire up a switch, and a hole drilled to install the open/closed switch that turns the light on/off. I was looking at those, but for $60, I got to thinking how dumb that would be when I have an opening on the SPod and I wanted the light to go down the sides as well as the top to really light everything up
