His frame is strait. His interior is immaculate. The core support is still in one piece without a bunch of scrap metel welded to it just so it kinda holds its shape. Don't see a crack in the windshield from one side to the other. It's all one color. Every wheel doesn't appear to have rock rash. All the tires appear to not have any slices in them. I don't see any body damage. His doesn't have a salvage title. There doesn't appear to be 372 feet of unloomed wire running under the body, through the cab, and engine bay. I don't see giant holes in the bed. You can still fit a couch in his truck.........I can't say the same for my truck.

From a general consumer perspective...as far as I'm concerned his truck is way up on mine.

That's because it's a second gen. Easy to do with that gen.

I new i was missing something. But still seems a little to high, but if the demand is so high like you say he should get it. I just dont know anyone that would pay that price.we all know hiw your truck has been drivin and im shocked that you had an offer if 17k.

It is a niche market. But really not so shocking once you take into account the fact you can drive 80 mph in the dirt whilst playing a game of chess with your co-dawg.

KBB is garbage. NADA is a bit better. The whole private party versus retail is stupid too. Who cares who they buy their truck from.
1st gens in California have always been at least $2k over BB.
This. Scarcity and quality. Willingess to pay is what matters. Just look at water these days.
    I'm not asking for $17k.
That said, I have gone out of my way to keep this truck in tip top shape with quality upgrades the documentation to prove it.

    No, wait.

    Hard drinking.

Apparently red meat, beer, and a staple of bukake leads to strong sperm.

I actually studied Japanese history in college, and have great admiration of the culture.

Consider for a moment, if you will, the aesthetic of this image:

    Or this

    Or this

But I'm not into that weird stuff

Well whoever bought that at that price was...differently intelligent. The automatic tranny cuts the nuts right off the V6, and I'm sure that one is far shy of 190 HP by now, even if running smooth and clean. I test drove a couple of 04 DCSBs with about 150k miles priced at $16ish. up significant grades and said fuck that. Short bed and gutless. This is why I have a 15 DCLB now. If I am going to be forced into an automatic, I may as well get some power and utility out of it.

I did the exact opposite. I had my kid before i had any toys. Now as he is almost a teen my colloction of toy's has grown as he does. Its awesome to take him out doing the things i always dreamed of.
I have tought him to snowboard, bike, ride quads, hiw to shoot and clean a gun, skateboard, and nowI wakeboard, amoung many other things. Its been the greatest adventure of my life so far. And just keeps getting better. Hell in a few short yrs he will be driving me on the trails.

I'm 49. Done with snowboarding, LOL. I am just trying to get back to the gym and start running again after lots of PT for back and leg issues. But I'm so looking forward to hiking, backpacking, bicycling, wrenching and hammering stuff with him.

And Lego. I can't wait to play wiht Lego again, LOL. :spy:

Yeah, I've been going through a slump since I fucked up my back moving into the new house 2 years ago. I'm dying to get back out and regain what I had and lose 20 while I'm at it :anonymous: I want to be running around with the soccer ball at the park around the corner. Wife is 10 years younger than me, and we will be back on the John Muir Trail at some point. Plan to still be doign that in my 80s.
