I hope the Yankee's lose. We caught them from 8 games back and now they get to pay for it.

Most likely the Giants will pull one decent name and two starters others have pushed away and rejuvenate them to being an overall good starter. With this years pitching free agency pool, it's easily obtainable. More realistically they need two starters. If they resign leake then they only need one.

You just sound like an angry pessimist. I listen to, watch and think about baseball all day long. It's possible and easier than your thinking it will be.

I'm excited for the post season. I love seeing the division shakeups and trades that can turn one team on their ear. I'm interested to see what really happens this offseason as Giants were in on BOTH big names last year.

Why would I be angry? We aren't even in the same league, as in AL vs NL, as the Giants. I'm just a realist who understands that sometimes big name signings work out and sometimes they don't. TO has shuffled You sound like one of those fans that's always sure the home team is going to win right until they are 5 games out of a wild card spot with 4 games left to play. Anyways, I didn't mean to hurl pigeon poop on your 2017 victory parade. Continue on. :)

Please. I'm a realist. I knew this season wasn't going to happen when pence went down. But do continue on your assumptions.

You threw out the assumptions first.

I was simply throwing one out of my own in retort. It's all good :). I was just at AT&T field. I didn't get to catch a game because my flight time wouldn't allow for it but it looked like a beautiful place to watch a competitive team play.

So bye bye Yankee's. It's okay the strongest team out of the AL east, and IMHO the strongest team in the AL, is still there to represent. Go Jays!

I don't know what the hell you were reading, but clearly you injected your own meaning. I never guaranteed squat. Read my posts again. "SF Giants preparing to get the Championship back in 2016." Where in this one sentence does it infer a guarantee of a Championship? smh You and blktruck seem to have difficulty with reading comprehension.

They aren't assumptions, and you're being a dick. As baseball fans we shoot the breeze and speculate, and brag about our teams. I stated that the Giants are setting themselves up for next year by acquiring some serious prospects from the foreign market, coupled with some FA starters look very good for 2016. And out of left field your threw a turd in the punchbowl and claimed I all but guaranteed a Championship next year. You put words in my mouth, as did blktruck. You two have issues. But :rofl::rofl: do this all you want. Evidence is in your posts.

    Go Cubs.

If you are preparing to do something by a certain date you are suggesting you will do it by that date. Sorry if calling you on that makes me a dick

I only see one person hurling out the personal insults right now
Which isn't shooting the breeze, which is what I'm doing. Don't get all defensive because someone calls you out when you state your team is preparing for another championship every two years. Just a heads up I wasn't even talking about you when I said assumptions. I was talking about your buddy there who is sure 3 good starters and a few other pieces will come to San Fran, which maybe they will and maybe they won't.

Anyways, if I upset you that wasn't the point. I figured you might have thicker skin than to get upset over someone calling out a championship promise but I guess not. Let's agree to disagree and enjoy some playoff baseball.:)

If the team you follow isn't 'preparing' to win every year, maybe it's time to follow a different team. How is it you feel it necessary to 'call out' someone for saying the team they follow is 'preparing' to win? That's being a dick, or intentionally obtuse.

Im hoping tonight the Cubs romp the Pirates. I really like the cubs and their dynamic. Plus Wrigley Field is still my favorite field to catch a game, besides AT&T of course.

If im the Pirates and they lose tonight, what do they do in the offseason? Thats a lot of playoff and out for them recently.

Wow lol. It's pretty common for fans to use the word "we" when talking about the actions of their team. Let's all take a step back before the butthurt grows out of proportion any further:cheers:

That's going to be a tough game. I watched some of the last series they played and those two teams...

Too bad I'll be out for dinner most of the night.

i think itll come down to late inning heroics. But i could be wrong and Rizzo/Bryant could go back to back and make it a blowout by inning 4 lol

    Yeah.

I still find it funny that the whole NL wildcard game and the next series will basically be the NL central playoffs to decide who comes out of the NL.

So honestly as a bigger follower of baseball than I what do you think of the Jays? Best record by a long shot since the AS break, top 3 offence, top 5 defense in the back half, and likely the best 1-4 batting combination in baseball right now. No way to pitch around the hitting, the Defense is tight like a virgin, and the pitching is there now that the rotation will be shortened.

Interesting article here, not that it's unbiased:

    http://www.tsn.ca/stark-why-blue-jays-will-win-the-world-series-1.372657

Seems like a lot of teams would not like to face the Blue Jays.
