Just gained 10 more pounds on my strict over head press Time to work more on mid back strength to gain more stability and strength mid rep to lock out. Super excited to hitting this 265 mark!

 

not very specific are we.... muscle tech puts out a ton of different products. and their low grade stuff from walmart kills my stomach

How about that "Jym"....?

 

I use pre jym and pro jym.

Pre is probably my favorite pre workout I've tried. No jitters, don't feel full and bloated when I drink it.

The protein is a good blend of whey and casein and some other stuff. A little thicker than ON gold standard (which I'll probably go back to after I finish this tub).

 

try mixing that pro jym with whole (unhomoginized, chlorinated, etc.) milk with the crème on the top and everything. it's a little thick but Dang it's gooooooood I like the cookie crunch flavor with that milk. hmmm

 

I haven't tried pro jym but I was thinking about trying it next but my favorite is ON gold standard which is right much cheaper than the pro jym. I was just curious why you decided to go back to ON after your tub of pro jym?

 

No "real" reason. I've been using ON gold standard for a couple years now. I know it works. And I have a tub of casein at home that I haven't finished...don't really need it mixed in with my whey like it is in the Pro Jym. At least, not until I finish the tub of casein. There's nothing bad about the Jym that's making me switch back.

 

Gotcha, I didn't know. There seems to be a whole lot of hype with his products.

 

What I'd casein and what does it do short version

 

Casein is a 'slow release' protein. I used to take it before bed so I wouldn't metabolize so much in my sleep. I always wake up 2-3lbs lighter than when I go to bed. Whey is quick absorption, which is why it's good for post workout.

 

Really starting to get into oly lifting lately, been replacing all my accessories with cleans and snatches, not training jerks right now since im so weak at clean and snatch there will be no point.

 

that's cause there's no BS about what's in his products, there's no proprietary blinds of who the hell know what is. He explains in multiple videos why it's good to have a good blend of protein,
he explains why you need every ingredient in his products and why you need said amounts. very straight forward about everything! Dr. Jim Stoppani practices what he preaches, #1 pre workout "pre-Jym"

 

My wife came home with a bottle of this stuff that she got from someone that worked next door to where she does. I'm trying not to hurt her feelings and claim it's a gimmick but what product on bodybuilding.com is this product most comparable to? I haven't but my girlfriend and my two gym buddies are doing a tough mudder in philly the 17th. Don't know what to expect except it's 12 miles of obstacles

 

where do you guys buy jeans?

I'm not exactly big but I still have to go a waist size or two too big to find pants that my thighs fit into lol
